Casey K Lee, MD
Dr. Casey Lee graduated from Kyungpook National University Medical School in Korea and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency program at the Carney Hospital/ Boston City Hospital in Boston, MA. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in research and clinical care of spinal disorders. He had been full time Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School from 1977 to 1995 and has maintained academic affiliation with the medical school as a Clinical Professor since 1995.
Dr. Lee is one of the most renowned and respected surgeons, researcher, educator and inventor in the field of spine surgery in the world. He has published or presented over 250 spine related papers in spine textbooks, peer reviewed journals and national and international meetings. He has frequently been an invited speaker on the topics of spinal disorders around the world. He is a recipient of many prestigious awards including Best Teacher, Best Researcher and Best Paper from many national and international societies and institutions. He has had the distinct honor of serving as president of the North American Spine Society and New Jersey Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Lee has educated many who have become Professors and leaders in the world of Spine Surgery and is one of the most respected Professor of Professors in the world.
